Cindy and Carol are national presenters, co-authors, consultants and developers of caregiver services in Western Michigan. They have provided leadership in creating services for caregivers which include the development of an Adult Day Program, recognition for Best Practice by the Dementia Coalition in the State of Michigan for development of a telephonic caregiver support line and the Caregiver Resource Network.
Their passion for supporting caregiver has led them to create “The Caregiver Cottage”, a virtual place of support where they will walk with you through your caregiving experience.
They met 27 years ago while working together in long-term care, and shared a mission of caring for older adults as part of a family unit. As they delivered holistic care, the needs of the caregiver emerged as a priority. The recognition of these needs led them to develop support service for caregiver.
